I hope them both combined could produce what we all dream about...w/o any flaws.

I never think of reduced competition as being good. For one thing, JVCs were always a better bang for the buck. I'm guessing now JVC's mobile products will be eliminated and Kenwood mobile products will follow their old pricing structure.

I wonder if Kenwood will get JVC's much better looking nav screens or will Kenwood keep the ugly nav screens and eliminate all the products in the JVC lineup.

They'll probably just liquidate JVC and use all the money to build on their own products... of course scavenging whatever they can along the way to improve their stuff.
