Hi I'm new to the site, I just got a Avic D3 ordered it will be here on Thursday. It has almost everything with it except a few adapters. I have bose/onstar and i need to the pac adapter for it can anyone give me a link or the name of it? Also the ipod adapter which one would you recommend. I have an 07 Silverado Classic SS (Classic Body style) if it matters.Thanks i appreciate all help.

onstar module w bose system(do not go for the 01 version because that will not do)

steering wheel module

ipod cable (suggest you look for the cbib200 it will not have to connect to power it will have that built in the cable)

Onstar/bose interface you will need a Metra GMOS-04

Steering Wheel Interface- PAC SWI-PS

Mounting Kit - Metra 99-2003

Ipod Cable - Pioneer Cd-I200

If you are doing the install yourself you will also find you have to trim some plastic behind the factory radio for the unit to fit properly. The D3's depth is a little more than the factory. You will have to trim out where the white pin from the factory radio sticks in a hole behind it. You will see what I am talking about when you pull it out. Other than that it is a very easy install.

I accidentally ordered the Metra VT-GMOS-04 Wiring Harness. I this the Same as the GMOS-04 Wiring Harness or different? thanks.

I used the GMOS-04 in my 06 Silverado, and that is the part # it lists on the metra web site. After doing a search it looks like the VT-GMOS-04 is the same thing. Maybe a newer model. Anyways you should be good to go
