i just bought a D2 off ebay for 173 dollars, I was wondering if the Ipod cable that I have on my D3 will work for the D2, and will it play video???

No the D3 uses the CD-I200, it has its own plug in the back of the D3, the D2 uses the CD-IB100II and plugs into the IP-Bus on the back of the D2, and the interface sucks compared to the D3. I had it on my D1 before I upgraded to the D3. You're better off buying an IP-Bus to RCA adapter and control everything from the ipod, just wont charge it. I also seen a thread on here about a wire you can cut inside of the CD-IB100II where it will charge it and be able to still control from the ipod.
