I though i read someplace the F reads the street names when in navi mode?
can anyone confirm this or not?

Samantha does, Jason does not.

You have to select one of the guidance voices that say "TTS" next to them.
TTS = text to speech

what was pioneer thinking? Jason sounds so professional the chick sounds like a computer......

it works but some streets she pronounces so wrong it catches you off guard
i went to the Rockstar Mayhem festival this past wednsday and i was getting on meadowbrook parkway (pronounced Med-O-Brook) and she said Meed-ou-bruk pkwy and i was like huh!?
sometimes id rather just do without the TTS and use jason, at least he sounds like a real person

Agreed Samantha is borderline unlistenable. Of course, that's girls for you.
