I was considering the 900 also, and a corvette forum vendor who sells it said they are different harnesses.

The power and speaker harness connections look the same to me, you can compare the photos of the back of each one at: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... Navigation

Call up each unit, then click on more images below the picture and there you can look at the back of each unit. Whether or not the wires in the connecters are the same however, I don't know, but I'm sure someone can post the specific location of the wires for each units harness. I know I've seen this done on this forum for the D3.
