I have a standalone pioneer dvd player I im going to hook up to my 700BT. It has both RCAs and Ip=bus connection. The questions I have are....

1. Which one should I use, the RCA or Ip-bus?

2. If I can use the ip-bus what if I want to add the HD radio unit which also connects via ip-bus?

3. The ip-bus connection does left and right audio but not video. Is that right?

Use RCAs, the F-Series can't control external DVD players, which would be the only advantage of using IP-Bus.
