Z2 gets stuck in "splash" screen once in a while.

Anyone ever have this happen? It seems to happen on a warm day, usually.

I also lost my AV Input selection too. I have the new iPod AV adapter plugged into that input. Maybe the adapter went bad, and is causing a short or something?

I reset the device, but no difference.

I have had the AVIC Z2 for 10 months now, and the P brake bypass performed since it was new.

The only thing I had done somewhat recently, was the Gracenote update. If that could be the cause, how can I go back to the old version?

I am also thinking of buying the Z3 HD from Garrettoomy, and I wonder if that would fix my issue, or is it possibly hardware related?

Thanks!

Todd

As a solution in the mean time, do you know if there is a way to undo the GraceNote update?

I will be ordering the HD soon, but it will be about a month, since I have a 10 day vacation coming up and I need the funds to pay for that.

Thanks,

Todd

the only way i can think of would be to get a zip file of a non-updated HD, connect your HD to your computer, and change out the files. but thats nothing more than a guess.
