Hey Dude if you have access to the apple composite cable it works just as well as im using it its the composite though (Red, White and Yellow) not the component one.

Same here; using the Apple Composite cable. I got mine at Futureshop.

there're a few aftermarket ipod AV cables...i have some obscure brand and it works fine all its doing is splitting the usb pins from the AV pins, they're all pretty much the same..except some minor differences in quality, shielding, etc...

How does the apple cable compare to the pioneer one?
