I have got the bypass done and it seems like everything works okay; however, as soon as I start driving the screen stops playing/gps options go away... is there any firmware I need to upgrade or does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Your pin that you moved is not connected.

 

Redo that.

If the pin is moved to the correct location and is seated in the harness correctly, and those two wires are grounded properly, the bypass will always work, 100% guaranteed.
