I was curious if the Nav software thats built into this unit updateable via download or some sort of flash update?

Just incase they add new roads to my area and expand, I want to know if I will be able to update my maps.

Presumably only the map updates Pioneer releases once a year. Other then that there has been no info.

We've actually already had a software update in the form of the first firmware release. So yes, in addition to new maps, it's also possible to update any of the software on the unit.
