Saw there was another tC thread down below... well here's another...

 

Just installed my F700BT yesterday.

 

 

 

 

 

You can see where I put the mic (for now). The GPS is on top of that double air vent above the HU but under the actual dash. Works great so far. No signal issues. Bypass is done and working just fine.

 

Like the other tC install on here, I just drilled new holes for the mounting so that the door closes OK. No issues there at all.

When you look at the OEM mounting bracket you'll see some dimples. Just drill them all out with a 3/16" bit and you'll use the front two new holes for mounting the new one. That way it sits back a little farther than the OEM one. And I saw to drill them all and only use two b/c the other two will actually press against the new HU awkwardly. So drill them all and it'll sit flush.
