Is there a hidden menu or other function I can use to verify the vehicle connections.
It is easy enough to test the connection for reverse and for parking brake, but is there any way to verify that the speed wire is connected? (F900)

MENU, SETTINGS, NAVI SETTINGS, GPS & TIME SETTINGS. Its right there at the bottom, where it says Speed. It registers even in 10ths of a mile per hour leading me to believe that in fact it is reading from the VSS pulse.

As that is available even on the F700BT, which doesn't have a speed sensor input, I believe the speed you see at that location is based entirely on GPS.
But I could be wrong, I'm admittedly just guessing.

Yea me too. I didnt know that was on the 700. Its hard to believe the GPS is that sensitive.
