on the bracket.... the thing that has that black tab you pull after you remove the plate... So now I can't remove these screws. :( Does anyone know where I can get a bracket so I can install my new HDD? Thanks a million!

you can take a dremil and dremil out a line across the screw, then use a flathead screwdriver

This is what I did when I stripped a screw. If you don't have a dremel you could probably get a thin file for cheap at any hardware store and use that.

If you don't want do to either of those, I believe you can buy more brackets AND screws from Pioneer's website.

You can get the screws here for $0.95 each:

If you need the whole tray, it's $10.95:

Another fellow avic411 member stripped a screw and took the drive to Best Buy Geek Squad. The screws were out in minutes. Any PC repair store, dremel/file, order new, send it to me and I will swap the bracket for you for the price of shipping.
