HEY GUYS! I`m new to this forum. I`ve just bought the Pioneer AVH P5000, to install in my Japanese Ralliart EVOLUTION VII. I`d greatly appreciate help in bypassing the safety feature on the player.

toggle switch on the parking brake.

Connect a toggle switch between your parking brake wire and your black ground wire. Than whenever you want to watch a dvd, toggle the switch as if you would the parking brake. Look at your instruction manual for more info on the procedure.
