I actually tried to do this for the first time today. Is there really no way to get a list of the closest gas stations without first picking which BRAND of gas I want? That's pathetic.

How about using MSN Direct? That is what I use.

I've got an F700, no MSN direct (and I'd be too cheap to pay for a subscription anyway.)

Same goes for restaurants you have to pick a type of cuisine first. Who the hell designs these things.

Select the Gas Stations POI category, then click Search button on the bottom, enter nothing in the name field, and click done... works for me.

But they did not do it as easy as it shulod be...

Anything special about getting MSN direct to work?

Future Shop did the bypass to allow dvd viewing while driving, is it possible they screwed something up that doesn't allow me to get a signal for msn direct.

I do get the signal at the msn direct page (some times it does not come through) and status is always inactive.

The car antenna is plugged into a hd tuner and the unit, by a y-spliter by motorolla. So is it something with the unit itself or is there a setting.
