I just installed my avic-z1 and I was trying to connect my phone via bluetooth but whenever i try it says "connection failed" I tried the small troubleshooting the manual has but nothing worked. I tried with my ppc 6700 (which I've read has good compatibility) and the samsung upstage.

I also tried connecting directly from my ppc but my phone also said it couldn't connect.

any ideas? could it be the bluetooth receiver? but i dont think so bc the z1 finds it and connects to it, and all the phones are found by the receiver, but it just won't connect.

I had the same problem with my iPhone, until I put a pass code in the AVIC and then the same on the phone?

yeah, I tried putting a passcode on the avic and then tried connecting from my phone and it said it couldn't connect

I have two phones on my Z1, it says it connects, but it doesnt.

How can I delete the two on the Z1 and get my phone to hook up and actually work?

I Just hit reg. and then ran the bluetooth to see my HTC TOUCH and then it worked.
