I was told by the best buy salesman that you could change colors on the lcd screen and also the buttons on the left. Well I didn't end up buying my f700bt from bestbuy but found out the hard way that all the colors match my interior colors(amber) but i'm stuck with this screen that is baby blue and white. Older pioneer units allowed this but why would pioneer not include this feature with the f-series? Or am I missing something. You can change the button color to endless possibilities but the main screen is stuck in ugly mode.

I received an updated blue dot f700bt but still dealing with a few bugs such as lock up for no reason. Sometimes it locks up(stuck in one screen and buttons/touch don't work) and I have to completely shut the car down to reboot. I'm becoming a little frustrated with this unit and i'm amazed that pioneer didn't test it out much longer before releasing it. The last thing i want to do is pull it out of my car and deal with the re-wiring of something else. Does everyone think there will be more updates to fix these final bugs. I understand that there won't be a fast boot up and it doesn't bother me much. But some of these bugs were ignorantly missed.

No, you can only change the button color. People are already working on customizing the unit themselves through the windows operating system that the unit runs on, so I'm sure it's only a matter of time before (hopefully) somebody figures out a way to alter the GUI.

We'll have all the answers to modding the GUI very soon. Bman69 found the rest of the icons I couldn't find inside an .res file and it contains all the AV .bmp's. As I'm typing this I'm messing with the 3 main menu icons

Correct but from what I've heard it's focused on the bluetooth to fix iPhone and BB issues. But don't hold me to it.
