Hi, i just bought a 90BT. I was wondering if you need to hook this wire up? If so, could someone point me in the direction for the location on a 06 dodge truck. Thanks

Not necessary although it will help the GPS accuracy.

I do not have it hooked up on my F250 and the unit operates fine.

Having this wire connected does not effect whether or not you can perform the bypass.
