My Z1 powers up, however the screen does not come on. The fans and evrything are running, but no sound and screen does not come on. Any help????

If you have removed the hard drive recently, but sure that the HDD cover is installed.

I havent removed the HDD. I sent the unit to a place called Same Day audio and the guy said its going to be like 350 to fix. I can't recall his exact diagnosis. I'm not that savy with the electronics.

dont do that!!!!
send the unit to pioneer direct, and no matter the problem, they charge a standard charge of $200. no need to pay another company $350
i have an issue with mine but i think imma try doin a harddrive swap

I didn't know that. How long is the turn around usually at Pioneer. And whats the address

not sure but the # is on their site. im a retailer for their product and i called them with my problem. bastards dnt cut deals for vendors of their product so im just gonna get a replacement hard drive for $130 from the guy on the site here. doesnt sound like a new drive would do it for you tho
go to the navigation units n ll see the # there
