is the CD-R55 remote the only one that will work with the AVIC-D3? i wanted to get a steering wheel one 1 so i didnt lose it and 2 so it would be small and easy to find what i want.

or perhaps this one? it says it will work with the D1 and D2 but ??? on D3?

All wireless Pioneer remotes will work for basic controls.

i've been wanting to get something like this too for my d3. have you tried it yet? what works and what doesnt?

yes, I have used fore different Pio remotes with my D3. They will all do: volume, track skip/ff/rwd, station up/dwn, band select, volume attenuation, source select, and power on/off.

lol. power on/off. i hate the fact you can't truly turn it off... unless you turn the ignition off.

I had the 980bt before I switched to the D3 and that remote worked and is alot smaller too.
