Avic D3 erasing custom backgrounds randomly

Just like it says in the title. I have not pulled the car battery or anything, and the constant power definitely didn't switch off because everything else remains intact.

If I go to the menu where I can choose my backgrounds, it will still say that the CD is chosen, but it would show the default wallpaper. Re-uploading the pictures fixes the issue but this is going to be an annoyance if it's going to keep happening. This is the second time within a month.

Does anyone know what is going on?

I had a problem with the copy of the map disk that I made. It worked at first, but I think the heat from leaving my car out during the day at work warped the disc a little. I got disc errors and the unit would reset itself during boot up, erasing wallpapers. Luckily, I work close to home. I made another copy and stored the area in the nav's memory, No problem since

The copy of my nav disk has been working fine though, also, if the unit was reset, wouldn't everything else have gone with it too (EQ presets and such).

Thanks. I'll re-burn another nav disk anyways to see if this fixes my problem.
