I just bought a D3 from Best Buy as a "open item." The unit was brand new but someone pilfered the discs from it.

My question is, since I live on the east coast, is the only thing I need to buy is an east coast disc?

I installed it tonight with the sirious tuner and sb10. Everything works so far but I haven't had a chance to use the Nav without the disc.

yes u will only need the east disk

Yes, all you need is the east disk. Unless you ever decide to drive across country that is. You can get them pretty cheap on ebay.
