Messed up while doing the bypass

Well I did the bypass with no problem, except one... When I pulled the pin out of the clip, the pin came off the wire and was loss in the dash. I have talked to a couple of people about the problem, but the only answer that I have heard is to buy a new harness, which is expensive!

Does anyone know what else I could do? I bought the harness from Circuit City, does anyone know the brand of harnesses they use, maybe I could contact them and see if they could send me a clip, and I have the tool to put it on.

Any suggestions would help, thanks!

1 - You can use another wire on the harness to do the bypass if you are not using it, like the system remote (amp turn on) wire.

2 - If you have access to them, the harnesses from DEI car alarms use the same type of pin connector so if you can find one of those you can use a wire out of it.

3 - There are "bypass kits" like this available on ebay that contain an extra wire for doing the bypass:

4 - You could also buy an actual Pioneer D3 harness on ebay as well.

Thank you so much, i'll take a look at it and see what I can do, I didnt even think about using another wire.

Thanks again!
