I've purchased a z3 toshiba replacement drive for my Z1 gps unit from Garret. Let me just say that everything that is mentioned in his classified ad was absolutely perfect !! The drive swap took me about 20 minutes to do. The swapping of the HD was not a problem, but the screws on the actual tray where the HD sits was a pain because they were so small. But you'll see this on any laptop drive that sit on these small trays.

Garret also responded to all of my emails in an extremely timely manner and was able to answer any questions i had. The replacement drive was shipped as prompted. I must admit i was a bit reluctant on purchasing this replacement drive and was going to go with the pioneer dvd's. But since the gas prices are extremely high, my Yukon running for 3 hours while the dvd downloads to my HD, and taking care of my twin boys, (lol) i dont have 3 hours to spare.

I would highly recommend anyone wanting to upgrade their Z1 GPS unit to a Z3 to go with his drives. Believe me, it's a piece of cake to do even if your not computer savy. If you follow his instructions, it will work flawlessly.
