I should note I can only speak for non-hybrid Escapes and Mariners. As I understand it for hybrid models, there's a unit in the double din space that provides hybrid system data to the driver. Swapping this out may be problematic. Don't know.
But for non hybrid? Lose the factory HU and up it with a good AV Nav system.

What size memory cards does the F90BT read?

Ok I figured it out, the max size SD card it can read is 8GB. Whats the max size USB device it can read? I'm thinking wiring up a 1TB drive in my glove compartment.

You cannot re use your harness for your Pioneer HU that you have now, you will have to re due the F series harness with your trucks aftermarket harness.
