I am looking to upgrade to a D3. I currently have a PH5700 unit in my vehicle, how hard will it be to wire everything for the D3 or will it be a simple plug and play?

You are going to have to do some re-wiring as the two do not share similar harnesses. Should not be too hard if you've installed any car stereos before, though.
