New iPhone 3G is working with the ipod connectore from pioneer but charging is not working.... is the happen any on u guys out there??
is there any fix to it??

iPhone 3G doesn't support charging through Firewire, and that's how Pioneer charges iPod/iPhones.

You can always wait till someone makes a charging adapter.
Lots of people are having this same problem with many aftermarket iPod accessories so a commercially available solution is just a matter of time.

My iPhone 3G charges, plays music & video like a charm! The VR works pretty well. The only downside is that the iPhone 3G contacts can't be accessed by VR.
This is my first post after lurking for months. I am baffled by all of the complaints. The integration and ease of use through the user interface is very good.
I had my local Al & Ed's do the install of the head unit, iPhone interface cable, and back up camera. They did a hell of a job!
