Downloaded and copied Z1 firmware update. Followed everything to the letter. System uploaded new firmware successfully. Checked version under settings and was correct. Lost onscreen button functions in several areas after update. Did reset and made it worse. Did total system reset to factory speecs and no change. Does anyone have a solution?
This is the first update i've done to this unit. I do have the early Ducatiboy unit installed. I'm having the exact same problem. Hopefully someone will have some insight for us.
Just a guess, but doesn't the firmware update remove the flash bypass that DucatiBoy's circuit uses to unlock features?
Sounds like you need to use the wire bypass, which would then restore the buttons that have been removed (because your unit is no longer bypassed).
