Hoping someone could help me with my Avic-N1, I can't eject the Navi disc out of the unit. It reads the Navi disc fine and everything else works but the eject doesn't do anything. I even bought another faceplate thinking it was a lead in the face but no joy. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

Ihave the same problem, although I can get the discs to eject if i slide the white switch in the cd slot over while its trying to eject. if i dont do that, it always says "mechanism error" and wont eject all the way. Any help would be appreciated.

Its broken. You can get it repaired for a couple hundred bucks

Yup its broke. I sent mine in to Pioneer and they replaced the entire board.

how much did that cost. Im not really looking to put a great amount of money into it considering how outdated its becoming.
