I'm looking to upgrading my z2 hard drive with the z3 image. Might as well buy a new hard drive. does any hard drive work or do I have to buy a specific one?

It MUST be a toshiba drive. I use MK6034GAX 60gb drives for the ones that I sell. They work very well.

I have a 80gig Hard drive and when I load the Z3 image will I have to change the partition for more music space or will it automatically do it?

ou will have to adjust the music parition size if you want it larger.

How do you adjust it?

Everybody seems to have their own method and software from increaseing the partition size after they restore. I personally use acronis, and restore each partition individually. Acronis then allows you to select the size of the new partitions.

Here are the stock partition sizes:

LDATA 17.52 gb GPS

SDATA 572.8 mb System files

MSV 9.308 gb Music

USER 572.8 mb Personal Files

Choose to restore each partition individually, then select the new partition size. You need to do them in order. When you get to MSV, just make sure that you leave enough unpartitioned space for the USER partition.

This can all be done in one recovery run. After you complete the first partition setup, Acronis asks if you want to restore another partition, just say 'yes'. YMMV
