The traffic button on the unit is basically just another preset button to take you to your local XM traffic station. It will give you information by voice. You also have a bunch more traffic stuff in your navigation menu, which is what you are really paying the extra $4 for (everyone gets the traffic by voice channels.) The extra fees are to give you traffic flow information, accidents, road closures, etc.

I just signed up for xm with nav traffic. When I push the traffic button it tells me to tune to the traffic channel and then hold down the button. Can someone please tell me what the nav traffic channel is? I cant find it on any xm channel listing Thank you.
