I want to install a power antenna to use with the AM/FM installed with my D3, and I want to be able to use the D3 function which allows to toggle between electric power & FM/AM selection to power up the antenna. Do I need a power antenna with specific properties and are there any specific connections to the D3?

all aftermarket power antennas have a 12+ constant power wire, a ground wire and a activation wire that you will hook up to the d3. thats all you need to do!
