Ok I did not realize i had to operate the phone.

My vx8500(chocolate) works! But i think the GzOne dose not have this function. Can any one confirm this?

When i upload my phone book from the VX8500 shouldn't i be able to then connect the Gzone and still have the contacts come up on the F? I tried and it did not work for me. Am i doing any thing wrong? The phone i use most is the GzOne. So i want to get the phone book on there somehow. It dumb cuse both phone books are identical

Each phone gets a unique phonebook so that two users (husband and wife for example) can share the system and have access to their own contacts.

Once again, if you read the owners manual you will find that there are two functions for uploading contacts. One that allows you to send them from the phone (good if you only want to transfer one at a time, and your phone supports it), or one that reads the entire phonebook from the phone automatically. To perform the later, initiate a phonebook transfer from the F-Series, press OK in the first pop-up and OK in the second pop-up. It will then inform you that it's transferring your contacts, and after a few minutes the process is completed.

I tried both ways

the 1st way was a bust right out of the gate. as i could not find the option in the GzOne to send cards

As for the 2nd way as soon as i go past the 2nd screen it said something about retrieving number for about 5 seconds then it said no Telephone numbers

Hmm, sounds like that phone is causing problems (which is weird).

Your only option is probably to download the phonebook database file from the unit and rename it to work correctly with your other phone.
