How to add new map in F700BT?

1. start testmode

2. copy map to 700BT

result: nothing

1. start testmode

2. copy map to 700BT

3. Reaname new map to existing

result: nothing

Any recommendation?

You would need to have a license file that a)works with this version of iGO siftware and supports the map that you want to copy. For obvious reasons neither Pioneer nor NavNGo are likely to give one out...

I have a license, were it should bee(path)?

In testmode go to "My Flash Disk\APL2\IGO\License" and there is Pioneer's LIC file.

I do know that adding another license file there doesn't work with a map that it works with on a PC (and apparently PDA) version... I did not try backing up the original file and renaming this one to the name of the one AVIC uses natively...

If you do get it to work, I'd like to know about it...

Yes, I tried that one. It also works with US maps for PC/PDA version, but I have a feeling that it is tied to a particular build of iGO software, so it won't work with Pioneer. I don't think WorldWide_v142_Demo_2008_02_01.lic works either...

Try to copy the base map either.

i think nobody has managed to do it yet. adding maps would be so easy if anybody managed to change or replace the licence file with a worldwide one.

we can work on this license file thing guys. if we succeed then every map can be usable with original navigation software on the avic f700. the thing is does anyone thinks that each unit has seperate license file coded to that device or there is just a generic license file for each region? for example,can anyone tried different licenses on their unit? like can anyone just upload europe license to its us unit and work european maps on their units? we can work on this if anybody willing to cooperate.

thanks snoop but i think the licence file should be from a european pioneer avic device not from any other software. if there is any european following this forum,please copy and upload your licence file from your device so that we can work on adding new maps.

Anyone figure out how to get a working license file for updated maps?

Didn't we have a long thread quite a while ago that had a hacked iGO (EZRider) executable that will take any 8.0 license and map files?...

The hacked EZrider file is no longer obtainable from RapidShare. The licsense file is tho.

The EZrider file, the verification graphic to actually download it never shows up. If someone could provide a mirror, that would be awesome.
