I 'm new to the Z3 and the forum so any help will be greatly appreciated.

What does the 2wire bypass do and how do you do it?

I have a 05 F150 Lariat with the sub under the back seat and im going to put a Z3 in with bluetooth, Ipod, and XM is there anything I'm going to need? I have the wireing harness for the truck with the sub and the dash kit. Thanks

Congrad on the purchase.

The two wire by-pass allows you to change nav settings while the car is in motion. Also it allows you to watch dvd movies while the car is in motion.

Note, Be certian on what you are doing as it is not recommand to do this bypass as you should not do anything while driving and keep your eyes on the road at all times.

But, we all did it. Never the less this is the info you need.

Yes for the z3 models you will need to do the 2 wire by-pass.
