Since the f-series is nearly half the price in the US I'm about to buy one from there.

There are several questions left.

-Do you know if it's possible to flash the unit with the european Firmware?

-Where can I get the maps for Europe? Can I buy them?

-what about the FM-receiver? Will it work in germany?- Does a firmware flash affect it's performance?

what about posting in the correct forum? will that work?

call pioneer and tell them you plan on moving to europe in a couple months and your bringing your headunit with you and find out if you can flash the euro update on it worth a shot

-No, you cannot as yet change the DVD region code (F900)

-No, you cannot modify the FM radio (different frequency grid, meaning you cannot tune to certain stations)

-No, you do not have RDS and TMC traffic re-direct
