Moving to Germany: Will F900bt work there?

Posted Sep 17, 2008 · 23:05 UTC#1

Hi everybody.

I will be moving to Germany in a couple of months and since I'm taking my car with me (2008 Corvette Z06) I'm wondering if I can use my F900BT there?

Does anybody know where I can get European maps for my device?

Did anybody try to flash the European Firmware to an US F900bt?

I know they are selling the same device in Germany but I don't know if there is any difference hardware-wise.

Thanks!

Ryan

It is only an assumption but I bet you can install firmware for Europe then install european maps that include Germany.

this is the exact same question I am wondering. I know you can't just upload the maps because they work on two different platforms. Did you come up with anything?

you can upload the maps to the device but as long as you dont have the correct licence file it will not see the map.
