New firmware has been posted on sept 17 for F500BT european.

Though the link indicate F900BT and F700BT, you will find the new upgrade for F500BT (european) as well.
I updated my unit but did not have the time to see the changes yet.
the eu update for f500bt did not work with mine. i tried updating mine but once the update popped out, the first stage already gave me an error. FILE CHECKING ERROR. i leave it like that for about 5 mins and just stayed there. so for those curious, i guess the eu update is not applicable for the u.s version. fyi
You would think that if the European version gets the 2.0 update the U.S. version would also. In the meantime I'm gonna poke around the the Eu update to see if there is a way to hack compatability. Doesn't look like it has a bluetooth update which is a bummer.

Not for the F500BT. It is only for the 700,900 & 90 units.

why should you want to try a eu firmware on a us box? it's clearly written on their side...
i tried it due to frustrations with my f500bt. i just lost the tts function for no reason. its just gone. i was hoping i can retrieve it from the eu update. maybe someone can back up their f500bt software/firmware so i can make copy of the tts function again. i already emailed pioneer and they wanted my unit back for repair. i just dont wanna send it out since i dont know the turn over when i can get it back.
