Hello everyone, I've had my eyes on the F-series since it came out.

My decision in buying one has been jumping a yes and a no after reading this forum almost everyday for the past few months.

However, when I checked Ebay this week, the price has dropped down to about $420 shipped on Ebay!

All I really want is a nice looking built-in navigation with bluetooth so I can use the phone illegally on the road.

I understand that the Kenwood DNX8120 may be 10 times better, but the price is about $1000+... Even a DNX5120+bluetooth would run me about $750 on Ebay. I am on my last year of college, so budget constraint is always there. For just $420, it really looks like a steal!

What do you guys think? Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

i just got an dnx5120 for 619.99 on ebay. ive also seen the bluetooth for 85 plus shipping. but if you dont want to go that route ive even seen the 500 for 408 shipped on ebay.

I'd rather have a D3 in my dash than an F500 on my dash... you can probably find both for around that price. If you can actually find a D3, that is.

=) I'll be putting the F500bt in my FX45 stock screen location... I think it's a really good deal.

The thing is the D3 will run about $700 without the bluetooth adapter, so it's going to run about $800 for a new one vs the FT500 which is $420...

I just don't feel secure buying electronics used unless I know the person
