I recently purchased my Z2 with the express intentions of upgrading to the Z3 software. With the exceptional help of this forum I performed the upgrade with little difficulty. I tried the upgrade on 2 separate drives, an older toshiba 40g and a new hitachi 160g drive. The older drive has had no problems at all, a perfect upgrade. The hitachi 160g drive upgraded properly, but has the reboot problem every few minutes. My suggestion would be to find an older, smaller drive for this. I guess i got a little greedy for space for music storage
.
I'm wondering if anyone has tried to create a larger partition on a big drive, before restoring the avic image, so that the avic music partition is limited to the remaining space on the drive, basically cutting off a section of the drive. Or is the reboot problem caused by the increased drive speed, not the drive size?
