in the Avic D3, is bluetooth transfer the only way to get a phonebok in the unit? I have too many contacts in my Blackberry and I just want to add the most frequently used manually. I can't seem to figure out how to do it besides the bluetooth transfer. Any other way?

Nope, you can however enter six presets in manually. You will need to dial the number on the headunit then store it as a preset. It will display number only, no name.

You can save your most frequently used numbers in those little boxes on the screen that comes up when you manually dial a number. Input the number then hold the box until the number is transferred into the box. No way to name them though.

Use the software for your Blackberry and backup your contact list, then remove all contacts except the frequently used ones, then upload to the h/u, go back to your software and reinstall all contacts.
