Hey all how's it going. Long time lurker as I'm close to getting a Z1. But completely unrelated to that I recently read about how Honda's have an "e-brake dance" bypass that make them a piece of cake to steal *IF* you know the bypass and are of course sitting inside the car. I'm just now finding out about this and it's kind of a bummer. It occurred to me that when installing the Z1 you usually tap into the parking brake wire, so I was thinking why not just disconnect it. The brake will still work, but the car won't know when it's on or off. All I'd need to know is which wire is the e-brake sensor! anyone know? Thanks!!

EDIT: btw here's an article that i found pretty interesting. **particularly near the end! http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/14.08/carkey.html?pg=1&topic=carkey

If you really want to disconnect that wire, you can do it right at the switch for the parking brake.

If you take out the center console. By the base of the parking brake you'll see the switch that tells the car when the parking brake is set. Just disconnect the harness from the switch.
