When ever I start driving the direction the my avic d1 shows the I am moving rotates in a circle. So even if I am going the same direction for awhile it slowly spins around in circles. Ive tried resetting the unit, resetting my current direction/location, changing the direction the antenna faces and can't figure out why it does this. Using it to get me anywhere is basically pointless since it always thinks im facing a different direction and tries recalculating directions.

any help on how to fix this?

Try doing donuts in the other direction of the gps spinning. j/k check your speed wire to see if it is connected properly and not to the reverse cable.

doing a donut in an explorer doesn't really work out so well.. i've tried it before haha.
