I edited some files and when ever I plug in an iPod it wont load the VR dictionary. I think this is due to playing around in test mode. When i try to reinstall the update to revert it back to stock it doesnt do it and i believe that its because its the same FW version so it doesnt copy the files...

Copy over the backup you made of the My Flash Disk (you made a backup, right?).

thats a no but i can get a back up from another unit, my only problem is that it cannot get the VR dictinoary with any ipods so im assuming that it needs to be a fresh copy of everything

You should really have made a full copy of the flash disk contents before you started messing around with the unit...

just a brain teaser question which i assume you have checked already but here goes.

did yo check to asee that your vr dictionary was switched on in the menu? because you can switch it on and off
