I've updated my Z1 firmware through Pioneer and followed the instructions to the T, due to the hot start hangups it had. Everything worked great except the bypass no longer worked. I went back to my installation shop and they swapped the bypass to the two-wire ground and it worked again, all was well.
Then several days later I turn on my car and the unit works, I can hear the radio and I can change the volume and track, but the screen is completely black. I turn it off and on a few times, and the screen remains completely black (but the buttons on the bottom do light up blue).
I even pressed the reset button and it still is all black.
Anyone heard of this problem?
