How to repair antenna?

HI guys! I was installing my Z3 today, and everything went pretty well. Unfortunately in the process I managed to accidentally cut through my cars antenna cable.

Am I able to simply splice it back together, as you would a normal wire, or is there something special about them?

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Many thanks!

i would get a new motorla end, and put the end on where you cut it. Then run an antenna extension from the cut to the deck. You will probably get too much static trying to fix it where it was cut

I have spliced antennas together (you are talking about the am/fm right) Your best bet would be put new ends on like jimmy wrote. However, you could solder or connect the wires back together and it will work, though the AM will not be as good. Basically, if you don't use AM just splice it back together. If you do use AM put new ends on.
