Hey everyone, I was just wondering on connector 2, AV input, could we just connect a red/white cable out to a 3.5mm jack to connect an MP3 player? Thanks.

Yes. I actually used and extention and keep access to all 3 (red, white, yellow) in my glove box. I can plug in a PC, an xbox, ipod video, any mp3 player, etc...

Thanks for the reply, does the avic automatically recognize the attached device? Or do we have to go into the settings on the avic and force recognition. Thanks again.

It is just an audio/video input with no on screen controls. Will will need to go into the AV settings and turn AV source 'on'.
