I was wondering if i buy another cheap dvdplayer or dvdrom connect to the brain ..and put the navi disc inside of that new player...will it work from reading it?? has anyone try it yet?

Won't work, because the cheapo dvd player will only provide audio and video outputs, not data output. The two RCA plugs will not provide data transmission of DVD-ROM data, just audio/video.
