I shipped it off to Pioneer via the Square Trade warranty to be repaired, and I just got off the phone with the Square Trade agent and he let me know that they didn't even have to pay out on it, because Pioneer stated that the unit was still under the warranty and repaired the unit. Cool Huh!

Right now I'm not too confident about modding my unit though lol..

any idea how long you have to buy that warranty after you purchase the unit?

i believe is one month

called and got the info, 90 days from purchase, 30 days for the accidental damage waiver.
