Do you guys know how to make it so that the navigation arrow represents your direction, always facing up while the map rotates around it, rather than the arrow changing directions on a map always facing north? I couldn't find it in the manual..

As of now, the north heading option is only available for 3d view, not 2d...but who knows how long that will be for with all the hacks being discovered.

With current version of iGO8, impossible (unless you use 3D view and flatten it as far as it will go).

If Pioneer gives us iGO8.3, they put that option back for the 2D view...

Anyway we could use the avic launcher in conjunction with 8.3?

I'm not 100% sure if 8.3 has been fully released yet, but if it is, yes, it should run from launcher just as (external) iGO8 does. Of course you currently lose all integration with AV features...
